Applies a style to whatever you want, portraits to landscapes. I am pleased to announce the release of DarkestDungeon v2 (lora)ĭarkestDungeon is lora revolving around the artstyle from 'Darkest Dungeon', one of my favourite games of all time. It's too risky to not know what is ahead if you don't have a tower or mega scout perk (getting towers is sort of a bad choice and who would pay to keep a scout perk perm?) so you are almost always going to need to invest in wheels and/or armor as having to fight if they break is a huge non gain battle of only negative consequence and a 3v4 (not worth).įix the bauble to trinket to repair cost ratios please. If you enjoy the models I create, please consider buying me a coffee! In a game about making hard choices - this one is really easy - I save all my baubles simply for coach repairs. Compiled with half+ of what you get is garbage, combined with a lot of trinkets being 2 part trinkets where you need both (eg stained) - and the choices quickly evaporate. You barely get any trinkets during a run as it is. I don't really get the gameplay design choice on this. Don't spend on anything until the run is essentially over. The only choice is to save until zone 3+. I get the trade off idea - I get maybe you just buy that one trinket you need at the end to complete the build to win the mountain boss - but it also means I have absolutely zero choices in the game in regards to fun with trinkets. If you get a 3rd wheel and 3rd shield you basically are down to 1 trinket max. This just puts you at 1 good trinket - maybe 2 trinkets you can purchase if you buy crap ones. Seeing how in a run I'm around 70-90 baubles by 3rd zone that leaves say 46-66 for trinkets. If you repair 2 wheels plus 2 armor in runs (seems fair assumption) - you spend 24 (if you got the cost repair decrease buffs) baubles. I'm working through act 2 and perhaps this improves as I get further into Acts 3-4-5 (and hope so) making this all moot. I've done about 10-12 total runs in the game so far, have farmed act 1 killing boss around 70% of runs and I've yet to purchase a trinket. I'm not advocating super cheap trinkets or near zero repair costs - however - I rarely seem to have the financial bauble flexibility I want to spend on a trinket or for sure not on TWO!
